Jackie Chan's 101st film will release in India this week and we can hardly wait to see what the martial arts whiz is up to this time. Chan wears many hats for 'Chinese Zodiac' - as actor, writer, director, producer, cinematographer, composer and of course, stunt coordinator for the film. At 58, he's still alive and kicking (quite literally) and remains one of cinema's greatest global entertainers. We look at little-known facts about the actor...

He was born Chan Kong-sang and his first stage name was Chan Yuen Lung. He adopted the name 'Jackie' after his stint as a construction worker in Australia. While on the job, he was mentored by a colleague named Jack and was known to friends as 'Little Jack', later shortened to 'Jackie'. He later even changed his Chinese name to Fong Si-lung
Chan began his career as a stuntname, working as an action coordinator and extra in Bruce Lee's monster hits 'Fist of Fury' and 'Enter The Dragon'
It wasn't smooth sailing for Jackie at the start. Because of the commercial failure of his early films, he was forced to star as a rickshaw driver in the adult film 'All In The Family'. He filmed his first sex scene for the movie and has only been part of one other in his entire acting career
The 'Rush Hour' films might have been some of Jackie's most lucrative projects to date, but the actor hated them! In a blog entry on his site he had said, "When we finished filming, I felt very disappointed because it was a movie I didn’t appreciate and I did not like the action scenes involved. I felt the style of action was too Americanized and I didn’t understand the American humor."
