According to the survey, 71 per cent of people in in Gujarat are fully satisfied by Narendra Modi's leadership. The pre-poll study shows very high approval ratings for Modi Government with 58 per cent saying that overall development of Gujarat has improved in the last 5 years.

What's even more interesting is that the survey states that most people in the state find Modi's performance as chief minister more satisfactory than that of Manmohan Singh as the prime minister.

According to the CNN IBN-The Week Poll, 55 per cent of the respondents say they are satisfied with Manmohan Singh. On the other hand, 73 per cent are happy with Modi. Also, 27 per cent feel that Centre is responsible for price rise while 14 per cent blame Modi.
