Petrol in the national capital costs Rs 68.46 per litre as compared to Rs 53.32 a litre in Pakistan. On the other hand, diesel price of Rs 46.95 a litre in the national capital, following the Rs 5 hike, is still lower than Rs 59.56 in Pakistan. Petrol in India is sold at Rs 21.89 a litre higher than in Pakistan, while diesel is cheaper by Rs 12.61 a litre.

Sri Lanka sells petrol at Rs 61.56 per litre and diesel at Rs 41.36. Petrol in India is sold at Rs 13.4 a litre higher than in Sri Lanka, while diesel is higher by Rs 6.92 a litre.
