The latest to join the tweet-war wagon are Sunny Leone and the infamous Kamaal R Khan. According to reports, Leone tweeted that rape was actually surprise sex, a comment that was re-tweeted as well. While the actual comment is wiped off, Leone strongly denied tweeting it and said the tweet was actually attributed to her by KRK, who was a liar. KRK's account mirrors his displeasure with tweets like "Dear @sunnyleone first you unblock me n then tell me what m I lying? I have read your statement in a news paper I said tat on twitter." Also, "I request to all women organizations, Shivsena n MNS to protest against Sunny Leone n throw her out of country to save Indian culture", he added. The actress has also filed a complaint against Khan with the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell. Looks like Sunny's in a war too hot to handle! After ridiculing SRK about 'Ra.One' on Twitter, Shirish Kunder unleashed his rage against another big star on the site. This time around, his target was none other than Akshay Kumar, who he felt abandoned the promotions of his film 'Joker'. Shirish Kunder tweeted, "A true leader takes responsibility for his team and leads them through thick and thin. Never abandons them and runs away.” He later deleted the tweet to avoid any controversy.
Twitterati saw actress Ayesha Takia Azmi and Kingfisher scion Sidharth Mallya in a twitter war. The actress tweeted, "The worst airline, Kingfisher!!!shockingly baddddddddddd airport staff behavior at Delhi airport with my sister.". Retorting to this, Sidharth tweeted, "Been getting tweets about Ayesha Takia & KFA. Not too sure who she is, an actor of some sorts?? But it seems something has upset her."
Shahid Kapoor and Taran Adarsh were caught lashing it out on Twitter after the latter criticized his last release, 'Mausam'. Shahid tweeted, "Waise bhi aajkal kuchh logon ke adarsh buri tarha gir chuke hain." The critic responded by re-tweeting, "Was shocked that he used such words on a public platform."
Respected authors Salman Rushdie and Taslima Nasreen exchanged heated words on Twitter when the latter suggested that Rushdie is begging for followers. The 'Satanic Verses' author was quick to retort, "Somewhere in the distance I hear the envious miaow of #Taslima-Nasreen being catty about me. Tut, tut, Taslima. #Shame #Lajja,"

Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor and columnist Shobha De locked horns when the columnist criticized Sonam's movie 'I Hate Luv Storys'. Sonam retweeted a nasty remark made by the movie's director (and rumoured beau!) Punit Malhotra, who said, "Guys pls don't take Shobhaa De seriously. She's a fossil who's getting no action and going through menopause. So just for her...(sic)". Sonam later apologized for her remark.
Former IPL boss Lalit Modi and MP Shashi Tharoor slugged it out on Twitter, when Modi tweeted about the dubious dealing with the management of the Kochi Tuskers IPL team. When director Anurag Kashyap's brother Abhinav was asked to step down as director of the sequel to 'Dabangg', he lashed out at Salman and Arbaaz Khan. Anurag tweeted, "Salman Khan thinks he made my brother's life. Hope he does the same for Arbaaz when he does Dabangg 2." Arbaaz Khan retorted saying, "Instead of GRATITUDE some people show ATTITUDE". Anurag quickly deleted the post from his account, saying that he was drunk when he had sent it out.
