In 2010, Peel Engineering began to produce a replica of the 60s version. It has an electric motor and with a top speed of 16 km. It was an exhibiton vehicle and had not been declared safe for public roads (with good reason!). Last year, the company began to work on a road-legal version that ran on petrol

The original version sold for 199 pounds (Rs 17,000 approximately, according to current conversion rates). The current versions retail for 10,000 pounds (Rs 8.6 lakhs)
