Over the past week, our usual diet of almost-topless pictures has taken a beating. Yes, Poonam Pandey and Sunny Leone – those good women who always deliver the NSFW (Not Safe For Work) pics – have shown us their religious side. Poonam has been to the Kumbh Mela, and Sunny went to Siddhivinayak. This has caused more surprise in India than anything else ever has, but we should have seen it coming. Here is the exclusive proof that they were always religious:

Here, a barely clad Poonam Pandey celebrates Holi. But the deeper message is not in her state of undress, but in the Holi part. Not only is she celebrating a religious festival, but she also chose one which rhymes with ‘holy’, thereby proving her belief in all Gods way before the Kumbh Mela
All religions tell us that we should strive for the light within ourselves. This picture illustrates just that. As Poonam sits on a bed in some hotel room somewhere, her long legs are irresistibly drawn towards the only source of light in the room. Some might think the posture was chosen to show off every naked inch of those limbs, but we know better, don’t we?

The underlying religious message is strong: idols in our temples are decked in gold and jewels every morning; they were once naked and undecorated, but they became ornamental. Sunny is exactly the same; she was once (very) naked, but is now a walking gold commercial
