After gracing the cover of Playboy USA in April 2010 – which was shot on location the Kenyan wildlife – and posing nude in a pictorial spread, Boucher says she “won't take her clothes off again”, not even for the SA edition.

The sexy model told Playboy, "I was one of the shiest girls you'd ever met; I wouldn't even eat in front of people. My family kind of pushed me into the modeling thing so I would get more self-confident. I never spoke in school. I was one of the shy girls in the corner."

Despite all her modeling Candice Boucher retains some of her schoolgirl shyness even today.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan South Africa, she said that Playboy had been pursuing her for several years, but she had turned down nude photo shoots each time. Finally, after consulting with her agent, Boucher agreed to disrobe for Playboy but only because it would raise awareness for her charity "My Life".

Despite appearing nude in Playboy Boucher confesses to Cosmo: "I feel good about it now, but I wouldn't say my sexiest is without clothes. With a bikini? Not really, either. I'd say I feel sexiest wearing something that is body-hugging."

“It's something I wouldn't want to have happen again because when I did it, I had my reasons and I'm happy with how it turned out. I enjoyed the shoot and I've decided I'd like to leave it like that and not to go back.”
