We all have (or have had) teachers we really love or love to hate! But if we could have chosen our own teachers, wouldn't life have been as colourful as the chalk they threw at us, for talking or giggling in the back row? This Teachers' Day, let's revisit school with personalities we'd love to see in front of the blackboard.
Aamir Khan: He is the ‘Khan’ of the moment. What with an appearance on the ‘Time’ magazine and a hugely popular reality show, he is living the dream. So, it’s natural that we would like to be taught by him. He could teach us a lesson or two about marketing and professionalism! We can’t wait. Bring on the lecture, already!
Sridevi: The gorgeous actress may be going back to school herself to learn English in her upcoming movie ‘English Vinglish’, but we are sure that she can pick up the lessons quickly and then come and teach us. Moreover, as someone who is a student herself, she can understand our pain and be generous with us.

Double tons: 5
Salman Khan: With his Tiger roaring at the box office, Sallu bhai is the top actor now. With an ability to turn even the mundane into something exciting with his sheer charisma, this Khan can definitely be the perfect teacher. Since he is known for his generosity, we are hoping that he wouldn’t fail any of his students in the exams.
Madhuri Dixit: The dancing diva comes across as a warm and genuine person on the reality show ‘Jhalak Dikh la Jaa’ where she is a judge. Going by those standards, we are certain that she would treat her students also with warmth and kindness. Not to forget, the ‘Dhak-Dhak’ queen is as passionate as they come, so we are sure to pick up a point or two from her!
A chiffon sari-clad chemistry teacher is just the kind of classroom distraction that any student, and especially the boys, would like. Sush has already had experience playing the hot teacher to perfection in 'Main Hoon Na' and we're sure her students in a real classroom would master chemical equations and memorize the periodic table to impress a lovely lady like the former beauty queen.
If he can rouse an entire country and make a stubborn government bend to his demands, he'd be able to make any student, how ever naughty or lazy, learn his lessons diligently. He has proved that anybody, irrespective of his background, can make a difference with the right spirit and willpower! He is the sort of teacher who would inspire his students and we'd learn many lessons for life and not just have a textbook education.
The doodh-guzzling cricketer would have been a godsend for mummies who often struggle to get their tots to down a glass of milk every morning. A hard taskmaster like Dhoni, who has a habit of winning big, wouldn't take no for an answer, and he'd be a good example for this couch potato generation.
Big B's no stranger to taking on the role of a teacher in reel life. He's been the fun-loving professor in 'Chupke Chupke', the caring guide in 'Black' and the strict disciplinarian in 'Mohabbatein' and 'Aarakshan'. We'd love him to don the mantle in real life too, since he'd be the kinds we feared and adored.
The maestro of mush would have us be one big happy family, taught us the virtue of 'loving our parents' and dished out a complete masala question paper on the latest industry gossip for mid-term examinations. We'd be picnicking in Switzerland or Miami, instead of boring water parks or railway museums and we think that attendance would hardly ever be a problem, with a full class turning up every single day! After all, his upcoming movie 'Student of The Year' is about us!
