Nissan Motor Company Ltd unveiled the Nissan Note, a new global compact car at a world premiere.
The Note has the Around View Monitor system, which is the first time that its been used in a compact car.
Derived from the much expensive Infiniti range of models, the system helps the driver with reversing and parallel parking.
The Note's exterior features a line, called the 'Squash Line', something which Nissan says that gives it an aerodynamic stance.
Powering the 2012 Note will be a new 3-cylinder direct injection supercharged HR12DDR engine which lays high claims of 25.2kmpl courtesy the Japanese driving cycle tests.
All the variants will be available with an Xtronic CVT transmission.

The Note will be manufactured in Nissan's European plant in Sunderland and will be on sale in Europe next year.
The car will go on sale in Japan in early September.
