Cocktail – The recent most release by Homi Adajania, is probably the same story told in a new way. For instance three friends share their lives and emotions and then the expected happens love comes in between. That’s the plot with most Bollywood movies. Although the movie got mixed reviews, Deepika Padukone’s acting was appreciated. Cheers to that!

Dostana – Again, three good friends and love cropped in. What really worked wonders for the movie was chemistry behind John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra, the comic timing and the fun dance sequences. We can’t wait for the sequel.

Dil Chahta Hai –Who could have thought of Aamir Khan as a brat, Saif Ali Khan as a geek and Akshaye Khanna as an artist? Farhan Akhtar’s debut movie backed a National Award to say the least.

New York – Based on the heinous episode of September 11, this movie depicted the grey shades of friendship. Faked friendships to get to the top or the girl/guy or anything materialistic is not oblivious to many, but the Kabir Khan (director) captured the essence and made people cry.

3 Idiots – This path breaking movie directed by the magic man Raju Hirani showed the perfect trio in friendship. The movie had a bit of everything love, tears, anxiety, exams, failure, betrayal and yet weaved on the thread of friendship. This movie was based on the popular novel ‘Five Point Someone’ by Chetan Bhagat.

'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' – This blockbuster hit by Zoya Akhtar, was nothing less than a fresh yet very emotional and interesting tale of friendship shown on screen. The chemistry between Hrithik and Farhan witnessed tension and then later friendship. A real take on friendship. And Hrithik, Farhan and Abhay lived upto their characters to the T.
