The IBPS testing organization topped the list of the most searched term on Google this year. The other topics (in descending order) were Gate Exams, Sunny Leone, Ek Tha Tiger, Rowdy Rathore, CBSE, Rajesh Khanna, Aakash Tablet, HDFC and Jabong.
Sunny Leone (little surprise) was the most searched person on Google Search.While Rajesh Khanna came in second, he was followed by Poonam Pandey, Alia Bhatt, Nirmal Baba, Sherlyn Chopra, Yash Chopra, Saif Ali Khan, Diana Penty and Vilasrao Deshmukh.
In the movies category, Ek Tha Tiger topped the most searched list. Other blockbusters searched on Google were Rowdy Rathore, Jannat 2, Housefull 2, Raaz 3, Jism 2, Barfi, Ishaqzaade, Agent Vinod and Vicky Donor.
Among the most search travel destinations, Kerala topped the list. Others were the Taj Mahal, Wagah border, Vaishno Devi, Amarnath, Kashmir, Shirdi, Rameshwaram Temple, Munnar and Gateway of India.
The metropolitan Delhi was the most searched city for the year. While Bangalore came second, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Kolkata, Jaipur and Goa populated the rest of the list.
The Sensex was the top news term that had Googlers hooked. Other popular news searches included Vilasrao Deshmukh Death, Hurricane Sandy, Anna Hazare, Aseem Trivedi Cartoons, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Kingfisher Airlines, Earthquake In Chennai, Pranab Mukharjee President and Rajesh Khanna Death.
