Apart from a legion of female fans, Rajesh Khanna had three very important women in his life.
Though his female fans wrote letters in blood to him and covered his car with lipstick marks, Rajesh Khanna's first love was actress Anju Mahendru. Their love story began in the late 1960s and followed with a live-in relationship.
But ultimately Rajesh broke up with Anju and shocked everyone by suddenly marrying Dimple Kapadia in 1973. She was only 16 years old. But things went wrong and the couple separated in the mid-’80s.
Soon Tina Munim entered Kaka's life. Though she was half his age, both did several movies together and their on-screen chemistry proved to be successful. This made them come close and soon they were romantically involved. Unlike other couples, they never tried to hide their relation. They rather announced that they were so much in love with each other to the extent that they even shared a toothbrush!
In his twilight years, Anita Advani was Rajesh Khanna's companion. Though Advani claims that she's been living in Aashirwad for the past 10 years, Kaka's family members share an uneasy relationship with her. Their history with Kaka too has been chequered and fraught with bitterness. Dimple Kapadia, Akshay Kumar, Twinkle and Rinki were reconciled with Khanna in the final stages of his life.
