Rajiv Bajaj was born on December 21, 1966. He is a distinction holder in mechanical engineering (Pune University) and has a masters degree with distinction in manufacturing systems engineering, from the University of Warwick, U.K. He has contributed to and participated in the successful transition of Bajaj to a high quality manufacturer of high performance motorcycles by conceiving and executing a realistic and result-oriented plan that was focused on a few significant issues, that gradually grew upon everyone, and that has always secured profitability.
