Broken Hill, Wrestling and More

I took 2 days and 4 flights to reach Broken Hill. I was supposed to meet someone to drive me down to the location but that couldn’t happen because the city had shut down that day. Due to the travelling and jetlag, I got the viral fever & landed up in bed, which I found really irritating. That’s not all, the flies of the Broken Hill are so aggressive that they can tick you off and how...

People ask me why did I get Sufi, Nauman & Palak as the wild card entries? If you have been following Roadies, you would notice that the person who has been voted out first, Sufi in this case, always makes a comeback. And the reason why I got Palak & Nauman back was because we observed a love triangle between them & Tamanna. We were interested in finding a solution to this love triangle between them. And during Palak’s vote out, we saw there was a lot of hate between her & the other Roadies. My intention was to give Palak another chance to mend her ways. But clearly she has not changed & she’s f**king up things even more for herself!

Now the wrestling task was really interesting! Choosing a door is symbolic. It is a metaphor of human life. People face the consequences of their choices & actions. I got the inspiration for this task from a film (I don’t remember the name) where a boy had to choose between 2 doors. Behind one door there was a tiger & behind the other one a lady.

Similarly, I have two reasons for making the Roadies continuously choose between immunity & cash. Firstly, during the auditions every Tom, Dick & Harry comes up to me and says I want to perform task, prove myself, and try to be better than the others. They claim to have all the Roadie qualities in them. But I did not see any of that here! Everyone was scared to lose their immunity even when it came to a Karizma or cash. Even though the scheming & plotting was already done & they would not have been voted out in either case. Secondly it is all about respect. I felt that during the wrestling task, a lot of them wimped out & that definitely is not a Roadie quality. I have deep respect for Sufi, that he had the guts to face 2 professional WWE wrestlers! He knew that he didn’t stand a chance but that did not stop him from doing this. Hats off to him!

Infact, I tried the task too and believe me I was tossed around the ring more that the Roadies! I went through all this just to ensure their safety. Though I must say it was a lot of fun!

i think roadies is a compact form of the total life. there is injustice, conspiracy, luck, partiality, betrayl, mistakes. everything that happens in total life, u experience in roadies in a month.
