Sajid Khan is the brother of famous choreographer Farah Khan. He is a half-Parsi and half Muslim.
His father Kamran Khan was a producer and his mother was a housewife. He anchored the hugely successful musical countdown show Ikke Pe Ikka on Zee Cinema.
Later he directed one episode from the film Darna Zaroori Hai. His first full-fledged feature film was Heyy Babyy.
Khan was the host of the talk show Sajid's Superstars,[1] aired on the Indian TV channel "Colors". Its first season was aired in between July 2008 till October 2008.
Sajid Khan hosted a string of failed comedy shows on TV in the 90s but all of them failed to gain audience and were taken off the air.
He had also hosted some of MTV India's chat shows and presented several award ceremonies, including Star Screen Awards for four times.
Ace director–producer Ashutosh Gowarikar criticized the way the show was presented by him in the Star Screen Awards 2008 ceremony.
