Even host Salman Khan wasn’t spared of bitching in the Bigg Boss house. The housemates lashed out at the lively host accusing him of favouritism and the hot-headed actor too had to raise his voice to handle notorious inmates. Here are some instances when Salman Khan lost his cool on the show…
Imam Siddique attracted Salman’s ire when he nominated Niketan Madhok for eviction. According to the rules, Niketan was immune that week. Salman and Imam got into a slanging match and Salman told Imam that he would come to the Bigg Boss house and beat him up for his ‘rubbish’ behaviour.
Hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani called Salman a ‘serial woman-beater’ on the show and this was edited out for the audiences. Sapna had also said that she wasn’t on the show to win the prize money, to which Sallu retorted, “If you are not on the show to play the game, then are you on a picnic at a resort?”
MTV VJ Siddharth Bhardwaj was brought to tears by Salman Khan during season 5 of Bigg Boss. Siddharth insulted Mahek Chahal and was about to kick Pooja Misra during a verbal fight. This enraged Khan who then decided to teach Bhardwaj a lesson. Salman accused Bhardwaj of insulting the women in the house on national TV. The peppy MTV VJ then cried his eyes out and apologised Khan for his behaviour.
Akashdeep Saigal aka Sky too irritated Khan during Bigg Boss season 6. The host expressed his displeasure by telling Sky on camera that none of his jokes were funny and that he needs to cool it down on the show. Later when Akashdeep got evicted out of the house, he accused Khan of targeting him for no reason.
One of the most notorious housemates of Season 5, Pooja Missra accused Salman of being partial to Mahek Chahal because she was his ‘good friend.’ During the grand finale, Salman criticised Missra’s cheap acts of maligning his and Mahek’s name. Pooja later apologised to Khan.
Pooja Bedi and Salman Khan shared a cold vibe during all of season 5. The actress blamed Khan of demoralising Sky (Akashdeep Saigal) on the show and wasn’t even invited to the grand finale.
