Sandhya Mridul was born in Mumbai but moved to Delhi when she was 10 years old. Her father was a high court judge. She has two brothers – Siddharth and Pankaj and a sister Richa. She also has two nephews whom she absolutely dotes over.After completing her education in Delhi, Sandhya moved to Mumbai as a marketing executive. Soon after she discovered that her true calling was in acting.Sandhya first stated her career with television. She has acted in hit shows like Banegi Apni Baat, Hubahu and Swabhimaan. Her big Bollywood breakthrough came with her role as Rani Mukerji's sister in the 2002 film Saathiya.She was critically acclaimed for her role in Page 3 where she shared screen space with National Award winning actress Konkona Sen Sharma.Her best friends in Mumbai consist of the likes of Suchitra Pillai, Reema Chawla, Rishika and her sister Richa Mridul.
