Sulzeer Jeremiah \"Sol\" Campbell (born 18 September 1974 in Plaistow, London) is a professional football player currently playing for English Premier League club Portsmouth F.C.. Campbell started his professional career at Tottenham Hotspur, where he spent nine years. He caused outrage amongst their fan base London newspapers when he failed to sign a new contract in 2001 and moved to bitter rivals Arsenal on a free transfer. With 73 caps, he is the only player to have represented England in six consecutive major tournaments.[1]
