Paul Walker, who rose to fame starring in the 'Fast & Furious' movie series, met with a tragic end on November 30, 2013. Ironically, Walker died in a car crash after his car had hit a light pole and burst into flames. Shocked by the appalling news, fans and celebrities took to social media to mourn the loss. Paul Walker was 40.
The world reacted in shock when hit TV show 'Glee' actor Cory Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room. Monteith was best known for playing Finn Hudson on the show. The police have ruled out foul play but drug overdose is suspected given Monteith's history of battling addiction. He was 31.

Famous photographer and father of actor Antara Mali, Jagdish Mali passed away on May 13. Jagdish, who has captured famous Bollywood personalities like Rekha and Salman Khan on reel was admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati hospital less than a fortnight ago for a hip-bone fracture. He passed away due to multiple organ failure.
Bollywood lost one of its first playback singers, Shamshad Begum, who died of a prolonged illness in her Mumbai residence on April 23rd, 2013. The 94-year-old was the one of the finest crooners we had during the 1940s and 50s, and was also conferred the Padma Bhushan in 2009. She was the voice bhind many hit melodies like 'Mere Piya Gaye Rangoon' from 'Patang' (1949), 'Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar' from the film 'Aar Paar' (1954) and 'Kajra Mohabbat Wala' from 'Kismat' (1968), among numerous others. In her heydays, Begum sang for the All India Radio as well.
