Bertram (Ricky Gervais) does not get along well with anyone. He dies suddenly and is also revived after seven minutes. But there is a change in Bertram when he wakes up. He is able to see ghosts. And they all want something or other from him. The worst of them is the ghost of Frank (Greg Kinnear) who is keen that Bertram break up his widow Gwen's remarriage. Will Bertram oblige him?
