King Dasharath had to send his beloved and the eldest prince Rama to exile in forest for fourteen years due to the constant complaining of Kaikeyi who is one of the four wives of Dashrath. This happens because Kaikeyi wants his own son Bharat to be the king. Lord Rama accepts this and sets out to the forest with his loyal wife Seeta and younger brother Laxman. In the forest they confront the demons and kill many of them. In revenge the demon king Raavan kidnaps Seeta and takes her to Lanka, his kingdom. Lord Rama now sets up for a journey to rescue Seeta, in which the monkey king Sugreev is also helping him. There ensues a long battle between Lord Rama and Raavan which ultimately brings doom to the later.
