“FIR” looks at some of the most infamous crime stories of the recent past. The intention of the programme is to alert the viewers to all the possible threats that we as individuals and as a society face, by keeping a close watch on crimes committed in Kerala. The programme endeavours to portray all stories with due sensitivity to both the victims of the crime and their families and the viewers’ sensibilities. However, certain crimes by their very nature may shock us, but at the same time it is our duty to highlight these stories in order to alert the viewer to the dangers that lurk in our society.
