Billu is a barber who has his own shop that is doing very badly as he is unable to afford to get new equipment. There is new excitement in town as Bollywood Superstar Sahir Khan (Shah Rukh Khan) plans to shoot a movie there over a month. Billu remembers the time when he and Sahir used to go to the same school in his village. Before he completes telling his experiences to Bindiya, she goes around town telling everyone that her husband is a close friend of the superstar.
