Raja (Govinda) and Meena (Karishma Kapoor) fall in love in Switzerland. Raja tells his father (Kader Khan) to ask for Meena's hand in marriage. But, before he can reach to their home Raja's father meets with an unpleasant accident with Meena's grandfather (Paresh Rawal). And when he reaches to Meena's house he finds that Meena's grandfather is the same person with whom he had a fight. Considering his son's happiness, he requests Meena's grandfather to accept their relation, but he refuses. Raja then enters Meena's house as Raju - a cook and tries to win her family over to accept him. How does he do so? And will Meena's grandfather agree?
