The 2012–13 DFB-Pokal will be the seventieth season of the annual German football cup competition. 64 teams participate in the competition, including all clubs from the Bundesliga and the 2nd Bundesliga. It is considered the second most important national title in German football after the Bundesliga championship. The winners will qualify for the group stage of the 2013–14 UEFA Europa League.
