Rahul (Tushar Kapoor) and Karan (Ritesh Deshmukh) are best friends. Rahul is sincere simple and hardworking, while Karan is just the opposite. Both are intelligent but cool wannabes. Both come from well to do families, but both wants to make their life on their own and so they come to Mumbai. Rahul has a dream of becoming a famous fashion designer, while Karan has no such plans. Instead he wants to become rich as early as possible, and so is searching for a girl with pretty face and heavy bank balance. In the meantime a rapist and serial killer has terrorized the city and Rahul becomes a prime suspect. The police seek help of a criminologist to trap him and he suggests a lady inspector Urmila (Isha Koppikar) to be friendly with Rahul so, that he can be caught red handed if he tries to rape and kill her. On the other hand Karan finds a rich girl Kiran and tries to woo her. Soon, he finds that she is his boss's girlfriend. Kiran's parent tries to avoid meeting Karan with Kiran, and for that they call her cousin sister Rekha (Neha Dhupia) for help. But, soon she finds that Karan is none other than his ex-boyfriend. What will she do now and how will Rahul prove that he is not the criminal?
