Shawn Boswell (Lucas Black) is a lonely teenager who challenges his rival to a street race that is illegal. He lands in trouble with the police and agrees to go and live with his father in Tokyo to avoid being imprisoned. Once there, Shawn finds another new – but fun and dangerous – way to continue street racing in the underworld of Tokyo's streets.
