Hari Krishna is a Music Director and lyricist in the Kannada film industry. He has composed music for over 15 feature films and sung a few songs. He entered the Kannada music industry with his catchy tunes and hummable songs through the movie Jothe Jotheyal. He is the son-in-law of famous music director G. K. Venkatesh. He has worked with many famous music directors such as Hamsalekha, V Ravichandran and others as an assistant since 1987. He became an independent music director with the film Jothe Jotheyali in 2006 for the Thoogudeepa Productions banner and became a permanent fixture for all Darshan Thoogudeep's films starting from Snehana Preethina to date.
