V Narayanasamy, Age 61 (Pondicherry INC Rajya Sabh)is a memeber of the Rajya Sabha, Upper house of the parliament. He is a lawyer by profession educated at Tagore Art College in Chennai. He was elected to the Rajya Sabha in 1985 for the first time and later was relected three times more in his career. He has held many important posts since he began his political career including that of member Committee on Science and Technology and Environment and Forests. He is also the President of the All India Backward Classes Employees Federation.
