Mr. V. Vaidyanathan was appointed as the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Future Capital Holdings (FCH) in August 2010. Prior to this, he was on the Board of ICICI Bank, where he set up & managed a vast Consumer Banking Business since its inception in 2000 and took the business to market leadership. The business included 1400 branches, retail deposits, mortgages, autoloans and other consumer loans, SME and rural banking businesses. He was one of the key management personnel to help the transition of ICICI from Development Financial Institution to a Commercial Bank during the last decade by diversification into retail banking. His excellent contribution for retail banking through reach and technology has won him many recognitions and awards in the banking industry, domestically and internationally.
