Ashwini Ponappa is a promising Indian badminton player. She is a Winner of the gold medal in Women's Doubles event pairing with Jwala Gutta at 2010 Commonwealth games. Ashwini Ponnappa came into the reckoning after winning the National Badminton Championships title twice in doubles event in 2006 and 2007.
