Charkha Nolakha is a famous qawwali sung by the great legend late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. It was later by Qayaas in collaboration with Atif Aslam. It has an interesting story behind the collaboration of Atif and the band. Once Sarmad Ghafoor, leading guitarist and producer for Qayaas and sessions players for Aslam spoke to Atif if he was interested to be associated with the band. Initially the band fused a song from their album called Charkha  a separate song from Charkha Nolakha with Charkha Nolakha and a third song called Kashmir. They sent this version of the song to Rohail Hyatt who said that the lyrical content of two Charkha's made them incompatible.
