Vice President of Indian Olympics Association (IOA), Tarlochan Singh backed boxer, Manoj Kumar after he complained of foul play in his match against British boxing captain Stalker who made his way to the quarter finals and is one win away from winning at least a bronze medal. Interacting with reporters in New Delhi, Singh said that rules at such international levels are made keeping in mind the interests of the European Nations and the United States. He also added that the Indian Sports Ministry does not have much say in such decisions.
