The goddess Kamakshi is a form of Tripura Sundari or Parvati or the universal mother goddess. The main abode of Kamakshi is the Kamakshi Amman temple at Kanchipuram. The main temples of Kamakshi Devi in Goa are the Kamakshi Rayeshwar temple at Shiroda.
