Just three days had passed after actor Aamir Khan s TV show Satyamev Jayate s first episode on female foeticide aired, the Madhya Pradesh Health Department had suspended the licences of 65 Medical Termination of Pregnancy centres for not submitting their reports on the prescribed form. The suspension would be revoked if the centres could submit their updated forms sooner. Aamir Khan who also met Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot appealed to him to take action in old cases of female foeticide in his state. Watch more on this story.
