Bradley Wiggins, the 2012 Tour de France champion, spoke to the press after claiming a British record seventh Olympic medal with a sensational gold in the mens time trial on Wednesday.He was a convincing 42 seconds quicker than Germanys world champion Tony Martin, and 68 seconds faster than British team mate Chris Froome, runner up to Wiggins in Paris 10 days ago.
