Vijay Kumar Malhotra was born on December 3, 1931 in Lahore, Punjab (now in Pakistan). He is currently a member of parliament (14th Lok Sabha) from the South Delhi constituency in New Delhi, and is the party Deputy Leader in the Lok Sabha. He belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party. This is Malhotra\s 4th term in the Lok Sabha. He has also served as a member of the Rajya Sabha.
