Anand Mahindra is well known for sharing insightful articles on social media. The chairman of the Mahindra Group stays up to date with the latest trends and often comments on developing events. In a recent tweet by the business tycoon, he shared the image of a group of people assuming positions before a race. It was apparent from the image that Mahindra was targeting the gender inequality at the workplace through his post.
The image in question has a group of men getting ready to run on an unobstructed track while the women have several obstacles in front of them. The women are blocked by a clothesline, a laundry machine, a washing machine, kitchen equipment, and others. Mahindra added that the image reminded him of reality and he saluted ‘every working woman,’ and acknowledged that “their successes have required a much greater amount of effort than their male counterparts.”
The tweet got a lot of positive reactions for Mahindra’s female followers, many of who lauded him for his comment.
This is not the first time Mahindra engaged his followers with a witty tweet. Recently he shared a picture of a milestone which read ‘Bibi 2 Kms.’ He then asked his followers to add a caption to it and the result was a hilarious collection of jokes.
