Anushka Sharma is one of the busiest actors of Bollywood as in the year 2017, itself, she had had three releases in the form of Pari, Sanju and Sui Dhaaga: Made in India. With Zero all set to hit the theatres in a few days, the count will be four, a feat not achieved by any other leading lady (at least this year). While we were all geared up and thrilled to see Anushka Sharma and Salman Khan team-up in their next film, the actor recently admitted it is not happening.
In a statement released by Anushka’s team, the star has refuted reports that she was approached by director Sanjay Leela Bhansali to team up with Salman Khan for a project.
“Anushka Sharma would love to collaborate with Sanjay Leela Bhansali but as of now, there is no truth to the speculations claiming Anushka has been signed for his next. We request you to kindly refrain from reporting on the same.” read the statement.
The actor, during a media interaction of her Zero promotions, had also revealed that post Zero she hasn’t signed any projects and because of back to back professional commitments, she has mentally stressed herself. She, hence, hasn’t signed a project for the coming year and wants a much-deserved break.
Looks like we will have to wait to see the pair on the silver screen once again. Salman and Anushka took our breaths away with their sizzling chemistry in their 2016 release Sultan which was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
