Amid the same hoopla, on Wednesday, the face of Indian film production house and music label T-Series, Bhushan Kumar has urged people to subscribe to T-Series with an aim to beat PewDiePie on YouTube.
Well, if you are not a social media buff, let us inform you that PewDiePie and T-Series are fighting it out online in a month-long subscriber battle for the number one position. The Swedish gamer knows that he enjoys a huge fan following and so has been on his toes for the past few months to be the winner in the race. “There is an Indian YouTube channel on the brink of becoming World’s Number 1. It has taken us a lot of effort to come this far. To take my father Mr. Gulshan Kumar’s dream forward, I started this channel. Today, it belongs to you, to the entire nation. It’s a historic moment for all of us. So let’s come together and subscribe to T-Series YouTube channel and make India proud,” Bhushan is seen appealing to fans on his official Twitter account. Not just this, seems like Kumar's appeal was also heard by PewDiePie and taking a dig at the same he responded to it as, "They are getting desperate."
It was in 2006 when T-Series joined YouTube and till now has more than 13k videos to explore. On the other hand, PewDiePie joined the video streaming platform in 2010 and has 3770 videos to his name. At the moment, PewDiePie is just 40K subscribers ahead of T-Series with a total of 88,292,421 subs.
