Raja Bheema, starring Arav in the lead, is surely the talk of the town. The makers seem to be doing everything possible to ensure that the film turns out to be a visual treat for the audience. The team is shooting in one of the largest forest reserve areas in Thailand and, reportedly, it’s the first time any Tamil film is being shot there.
Presented by Surabhi films’ S Mohan and directed by debutante Naresh Sampath, this will be Bigg Boss Tamil season 1 winner Arav’s debut film. Going by the posters of the film, it looks like Raja Bheema is about a man and his elephant.
The team is currently camping in the Kanchanpuri, a thick forest with the blanket of jungle shrubs and huge trees. Peter, an elephant, was hired by the team and he’ll be shooting with Arav throughout. During the shoot, a couple days ago, Arav had a nasty fall when he was seated atop Peter. The elephant shook itself and the actor lost his balance. But, before help was called, the actor was already back on his feet and ready to shoot.
In a press statement producer S Mohan said, “This shows the commitment and passion of our hero. Though I’m worried about his well being, I’m glad he had the heart and thoughts for the producer. The shooting is happening at a rapid pace, we will complete the Thai schedule in 15 Days. Back to India, we have one final schedule to shoot and we are aiming for a summer release.”
