Karan Johar’s directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai completed 20 years of its release in October this year and his second directorial Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham marks 17 years of its release on Friday. The movie starring Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan was a super hit at the box office. Karan has posted a video on Twitter which takes us on a nostalgia trip. But well, his post has surely raised a question.
When in October Kuch Kuch Hota Hai completed 20 years of its release, he had thanked each and every actor for being a part of the film, but that’s not the case with his post for Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. He hasn’t tagged anyone and has just used the hashtag #17YearsOfKabhiKhushiKabhieGham. Well reportedly, all is not well between Karan and SRK because the filmmaker has planned to release his production venture Simmba just seven days after the release of Zero which can affect the collection of SRK’s film. We wonder if this is the reason why Karan opted to not tag any of the actors as if he would have tagged others actors of the film and not SRK, then their cold war would have been quite apparent.
Well, let’s wait for the last week of the December, when the two films will be competing in the theatres.
