Ranveer Singh and Sahil Khattar go Tattad Tattad!
The upcoming film on the 1983 cricket World Cup has been getting a lot of attention. The film stars Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev. The cast created quite a stir when they arrived at the Dharamshala stadium to train for the film. Ranveer Singh, along with the rest of the cast, including Pankaj Tripathi, Saqib Saleem, Sahil Khattar, Tahir Raj Bhasin and Harrdy Sandhu trained with the likes of Kapil Dev and Mohinder Amarnath in the picturesque stadium.
83 is based on India’s historic World Cup victory in 1983. The team was at that time, led by Kapil Dev, who is also known as the Haryana Hurricane. The filming has not started and following the training session at the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium, the crew will be heading to Glasgow to start the shoot. The cast looks very excited to begin their work and a video shared by Sahil Khatter proves the same.
Tattad Tattad gets into your head!
Sahil plays the role of former cricketer Syed Kirmani and from the look of it, the cast was recreating Ranveer Singh’s popular Tattad Tattad song. According to reports, the film is slated to go on the floors on Jun 5, in Glasgow. Coincidentally, that is also the date when India begins their World Cup 2019 campaign in England. Team India will be playing against South Africa in what will be their first match at the World Cup.
The training session undertaken by the 83 team was to ensure that they learn all the ropes require in cricket. The idea is to make the action look as authentic as possible. Reportedly, director Kabir Khan will be casting players who will be playing against India and represent teams such as West Indies and South Africa. 83 is expected to release on April 10, 2020.Read More
