A few years after refusing Sultan, Kangana Ranaut is now ready to work with Salman Khan
Ahead of the release of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Kangana Ranaut is on a powerful promotional spree. A couple of her last films i.e. Rangoon and Simran weren't very successful at the box office. But as her avatar as the queen of Jhansi has created immense curiosity, one can assume that the film will mint plenty of money and great reactions too. Meanwhile, at a song launch of the film, she was quizzed whether she would be interested to work with Salman Khan.
"Salman is a friend. If there's ever an opportunity for me to work with him as an actor or as a director, I would definitely like to do it," she said. On that note, let us remind you that Salman's blockbuster film Sultan was first offered to Kangana, who turned it down since she didn't find it meaty enough for her. The film later went to Anushka Sharma. "Coming from a double role space and doing so much more in my earlier films, I didn't want to demote myself to something which wasn't offering me so much. That's why I didn't do it," she had reportedly said. Quite a shift of stand now!

Kangana is donning the director's hat for the first time, with her forthcoming film Teja. At the same time, it would be interesting if she ever directs Salman; but equally interesting if they team up as co-stars as well. That would be a first for Kangana, who has never worked with any of the Khans before.
