Aamir Khan hunting for the right script for son Junaid Khan's Bollywood debut, deets here!
In an era where star-kids are reigning the industry, we wonder why some of the famous stars are keeping their sons and daughters away from the media glare. After Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda recently opening up on the topic, it’s now Aamir Khan who has got candid about the same. The superstar met the media at his posh residence on Sunday, where he spoke about his son Junaid getting into films. The Thugs Of Hindostan star shared that he is keen on launching his son, but there’s one condition!
“We are searching the right script for Junaid because I have seen his work and I’m quite happy with it. So when we will get the right kind of story, we will. I believe in the screen test, if he will pass the screen test then I believe he will and if he won’t pass the screen test, I don’t think he will become an actor,” told Mr Perfectionist. He further added that Junaid is a trained actor and has taken part in many plays.
"He has trained as an actor. He did two years of training and theatre in American Academy of Dramatic Arts in LA and then he did plays for one year there. He has been in theatre for three years now,” he said.
Moreover, when asked who could reprise his role in his biopic, he said, “I think Junaid can do it. He might be a good choice.”
The PC was held as a part of Aamir’s latest release Rubaru Roshni’s promotions. Helmed by Svati Chakravarty Bhatkal, the film chronicles three real-life stories of grief and forgiveness.
