As the shoot of Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Thugs Of Hindostan comes closer to it's final leg, whispers around Aamir Khan's next project are growing louder. Only recently we had speculated about Mahabharata being Khan's next huge project. Reports are now coming in confirming that Khan has indeed decided to dedicate the next decade of his career to a specific project which will be a series of movies and will form a franchise. Khan intends to finish the shoot of Thugs and will then dive into the story of the magnum opus mythological tale.
Mahabharata is a tricky Epic to attempt and Khan knows that. He realizes that it will take more than one film to bring out the entire story and that's the reason why he plans to give the next ten years of his life to the project.
Reports also say that Khan wants to produce and eventually direct the film but the first one will be directed by, Secret Superstar director, Advait Chandan.
What will be interesting to see is which version will Khan follow. Earlier this year UAE-based billionaire BR Shetty announced India's most expensive film ever with an adaptation that will cost a billion.
