Aditi Rao Hydari reveals she convinced Sanjay Leela Bhansali to do THIS on the set of Padmaavat!
Aditi Rao Hydari on why she is the queen of minimalism.
Aditi Rao Hydari is the personification of royalty. The doe-eyed beauty has always made headlines for her fresh-faced appearances on the screen. Hydari has almost never been one to wear a dark lip or winged eyeliner, so much so that nude tones have become her signature. We sat down with the beauty for quick little chat where she revealed how she convinced Sanjay Leela Bhansali to go with a nude look on her despite originally intending to use Kajal for her character Mehrunnisa in Padmaavat.
Chatting with renowned makeup artist Lekha Gupta, Aditi revealed how she has always had a penchant for nude tones. Most of her films including Wazir and Padmaavat show her as a fresh-faced beauty, with her skin gleaming in close-ups. "At least for most of the parts that I've done it is not required [to use] kajal or winged liner. Even in fact, for Padmaavat, originally it was decided that we would use kajal and then Sanjay sir saw me on set, like fresh in the morning and he was like, let's just go without anything," she said.
In the episode of Amazon Beauty Presents Vanity Diaries, we see Aditi take up the one-minute beauty challenge. We see her create a full face of makeup within a minute using just blush! The actor also reveals that she is a fan of blush and loves when her blush game is on point!
At the work front, Aditi Rao Hydari has been able to create a strong fan base in the South. After Padmaavat, the actor was seen in a slew of Tamil and Telegu movies such as Sammohanam, Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, Antariksham 9000 KMPH. She will be next seen in Psycho, a Tamil psychological comedy directed by renowned South actor Mysskin. She will also share screen space with Mission Mangal actor Nithya Menen. The film is slated to release later this year.
