It was on Wednesday morning when Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to request celebs from different genres to urge citizens across the country to cast their vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. In several tweets, he requested Bollywood celebs like Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Vicky Kaushal, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar to use their influence and ask the public to cast their vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.

Now it will be interesting to see that if these tweets from Bollywood actors will help in getting more people to voting centres in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Aamir told his fans to fulfil their responsibility, get their voice heard and vote.
Akshay used his movie Toilet: Ek Pram Kath to get his point across, saying that voting is like a superhit prem katha between our nation and the voters. Quite Creative!
Vicky made an important point too, saying that every vote is a building block for democracy and we should celebrate the world's largest democracy by voting.
Ayushmann feels that as the citizen of the country it is everyone’s duty to create awareness about voting.
