The first film of the franchise released 7 years back in 2010 and was a box-office success. Later, ‘Housefull 2’, which featured actors like Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor in the cast, was also a huge commercial success. In addition to Akshay and Riteish Deshmukh, the third instalment starred Abhishek Bachchan as well.
According to an Indian Express report, producer Sajid Nadiadwala said, "Housefull is franchise of fun and 4th will be the biggest Housefull that we have made till now. I am happy to be back with Sajid Khan who directed the first two parts of the film. We have a funny thematic twist in the fourth part as the plot is that of reincarnation. We have big production plans for the movie and that's why we think that we would need all this time to make it the event film of 2019."While Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh were part of all the three installments, cast for the fourth installment will be announced soon. 2019 couldn’t come sooner.
