Alia Bhatt reacts to Kangana Ranaut's statement slamming Ranbir Kapoor
Bollywood’s Queen Kangana Ranaut is known for her outspoken attitude. Time and again, the actor has voiced her opinions on various issues ranging from nepotism in the industry to country's political scene. Recently, the Sanju actor Ranbir Kapoor came under her radar. During the success party of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi a few days ago, Kangana slammed RK for not voicing his opinions on the political scenario of the country. She called Ranbir 'selfish' and even lashed out at other celebs from the film fraternity for remaining tight-lipped on what is going wrong in the society. It’s now Ranbir’s girlfriend Alia Bhatt who has responded to Kangana’s remarks.
Alia being herself, had a classy comeback. When asked to comment on Kangana's latest remark, she said, “I do not have that ability to speak as candidly as Kangana does and I really, really respect her for that. Maybe in a way she is right. Sometimes we do hold back, or maybe we think that ‘kyu khamakha bolne jayein (why should we speak uselessly)'. My dad always says there are already so many opinions in the world, the world can do with one less opinion. So I have an opinion but I will keep it to myself. Kudos to her, she genuinely speaks very well.”

This isn’t the first time that Alia has responded to Kangana’s harsh comments in a rather peaceful and calm manner. Earlier, the latter called her Karan Johar’s puppet after she failed to attend the Manikarnika screening. Even then, the Raazi star had replied saying that she did not want to comment anything on the same and added that she hadn’t 'done anything to deserve such harsh words'.
